Recent fire accidents in industries are the lessons for the man kind that unskilled and lack of awareness on Fire and Industrial Safety. The importance of Fire and Industrial Safety was realized because of the fact that every year millions occupational/ industrial accidents occur which result in loss of production time and death of employees.

There is a demand for well qualified safety officers, stewards and supervisors, but there are only few safety professionals with valid qualification from institutions like IIISM.

This course has been designed as per the National Education Policy (NEP), to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to apply their learning to real-world problems. The aim of the course is to qualify the students with best safety knowledge and skills to meet the demand of safety professionals as per the industrial needs. They also engage in hands-on projects, lab work, and research to develop practical skills and apply their knowledge to real-world problems.

The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) program in Fire & Industrial Safety is a multidisciplinary program to provide students with a strong foundation in the field of Fire & Industrial Safety. The program covers application of science & techniques to prevent the Industrial Accidents and to control the Environmental issues. The program is ideal for students who have an interest in science, safety, and legal compliances. Graduates of the program are well-prepared for a variety of careers in Industrial Safety, including positions in EHS, Pollution control, Food control, Fire Control and legal organization.
